Prof. Yakubu Aboki Ochefu
Chairman Advisory Board
Yakubu Aboki Ochefu is an academic, university administrator and entrepreneur. He was born at the 44 Armed Forces Hospital in Kaduna on Monday the 24th of October 1960, to the family of Col. Anthony Aboki Ochefu (rtd.) of blessed memory, and Mrs Mammy Ochefu. He had his primary school education at Army Children School, Dan-Tunku Road, Kaduna and St. Bernadette’s Private School Ibara, Abeokuta in Ogun State.

Mr. Tordue Nyitse

Tordue Nyitse is a seasoned professional and public servant with over two decades of experience in legislative processes, project management, capacity building, gender advocacy, and skills development. With a Masters of Arts in History, complemented with advanced ICT proficiency and specialized training in legislative drafting and gender-responsive policy, Tordue brings a wealth of expertise to the advisory board and skills development initiatives at AYA Foundation

Dr. Avanger Joseph Anande is a seasoned professional with extensive academic and professional qualifications, making him an ideal candidate for board membership at AYA Foundation.
Dr. Anande's academic journey spans multiple renowned institutions, reflecting his deep expertise in economics and finance. With a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Finance from the prestigious Finance Academy, Moscow, Russian Federation in 1992, Dr. Anande has earned multiple professional qualifications that underscore his commitment to corporate administration and management excellence.

Programme Lead
Kelvin Jiraji is an Engineer, innovation entrepreneur, Edtech enthusiast. He is an alumnus of LEAP Africa and the Tony Elumelu Fellowship .
Kelvin is the founder of Agritech and Social Innovation Hub, Nigeria, a dedicated space for co-creation in Benue State and for accelerating the application of technology in Agriculture to make it attractive to young people to disrupt it.
Ngutor Ter-Ahua

Mr Ngutor Ter-Ahua was born on the 6th September 1988 to the family of Chief Ahua Avanger in Buruku local government area of Benue State, Nigeria.
He attended Williams Muckle Bristow Secondary school Gboko.

Gender and Social Inclusion Lead
Evelyn Ugbe is a distinguished project manager with over a decade of experience in project management, facilitation, and the enhancement of partner capacities. She specializes in designing and implementing sustainable development projects focused on Gender-Based Violence (GBV), climate change, and the promotion of gender equality and inclusion.

Dr. Janet Aver Adikpo is a distinguished communication and social sciences expert with a strong academic foundation, professional certifications, and practical experience in advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication. She brings exceptional value as the Research and Development Lead for AYA Foundation.
Dr. Adikpo’s education spans globally recognized institutions, showcasing her dedication to lifelong learning and expertise. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Sciences – from Azteca University, Mexico and a Postgraduate Diploma in Customer Relations Management – Institute of Customer Relations Management, Lagos, Nigeria, she is positioned to lead the Research team at the foundation.
